Prof. Ir. Ts. Dr. Tan Chee Fai, A.M.N. is Deputy Vice-Chancellor responsible for Industry–Academia Collaboration, Strategic Research and Engagement, and Professor of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering at Kuala Lumpur University of Science and Technology. He is Vice President of the Institution of Engineers, Malaysia, and Chair of the ASEAN Engineering Inspector for Manufacturing Steering Committee. He has more than 20 years of experience in mechanical engineering, manufacturing and advanced engineering, with extensive involvement in mechanical design, smart manufacturing, robotics, industrial automation and engineering education.
