Lawrence Tan Koon Peng has more than 20 years of experience in accounting, auditing, taxation and business advisory services. He holds a Bachelor of Accounting and Finance from the University of Manchester, and is a Chartered Accountant of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants, a Fellow of ACCA (FCCA), a member of the Chartered Tax Institute of Malaysia, an ASEAN Chartered Professional Accountant, a Certified Industry Productivity Specialist of the Malaysia Productivity Corporation, and an HRD Corp Accredited Trainer. He is Fellow and Treasurer of AETDEW, Founder and Managing Partner of Lawrence Tan & Co, a Partner of Total International Associates, and Honorary Treasurer of the Malaysia Accounting Firms Association.
