Hong Kong Blockchain Association

The Hong Kong Blockchain Association (HKBA) was established in 2017 by industry pioneers including Tony Tong, Thomas Cheung, Prof. Wei-Tek Tsai, and Jay Liang. As a leading Blockchain and Web3 industry organization in Hong Kong and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, HKBA is also a member of the ASEAN AI Blockchain Alliance (AABA).

Mission & Positioning: Operating on the principles of an open, autonomous, and egalitarian Decentralized Autonomous Organization (DAO), HKBA is dedicated to promoting the adoption, knowledge exchange, and practical application of Blockchain and Web3 technologies. Serving as a bridge between the Greater China region and the global Web3/Metaverse ecosystem, the association aims to establish Hong Kong as a next-generation AI + Blockchain FinTech hub.
