Background

Dr. Umar served as Director of the INTERPOL National Central Bureau in Nigeria and as Vice President for Africa of the INTERPOL Executive Committee. He brings over thirty years of experience in international policing and counter-terrorism cooperation. He holds multiple master’s degrees in law, criminal justice, and strategic studies, and has undergone advanced security training in the United States, Europe, and the Middle East."
